Guitar Service & MOT
Over time the strings on a guitar can lose their sparkle and dynamic – this obviously is down to all the playing and is part and parcel of owning and playing a guitar. Also the sweat from your fingers plays a massive part in the deterioration of strings and indeed this all seeps into the wood grain of the fingerboard and the subsequent grime can build up near the frets if left it will
lead to fingerboard wear which isn’t good nor is it hygienic.
The Teach Guitar Preston Service and MOT will put all this right. It’s All Part Of The Service
The service and MOT consists of a full strip down of the guitar strings and if the neck has shifted then it will be re-set and the neck and frets will have a pure organic lemon oil applied to remove all dirt, dust and DNA ! This will be carefully applied to fully restore the fingerboard making it much easier to play.
Then the body will be cleaned using the Martin Guitar Natural Cleaner which will nourish the wood and leave it thoroughly cleaned and no harmful chemical polish will ever be used. Then a full re-string of the guitar using hand made Newtone Strings to bring your guitar back to life and in most cases even better sounding.
The cost of this service is £25 fully inclusive of the strings and is available to everyone – not just students of Teach Guitar Preston.
